About the BCA
The Burra Community Association (BCA) is a social group dedicated to organising events, functions and fund-raising activities for the benefit of the local community.
The group is always on the lookout for community-minded people willing to devote a few spare hours to organise or lend a hand with community projects.
Projects completed in the last couple of years include refurbishment of the kitchen at the Burra Hall, the installation of a shade sail, and landscaping and other improvements to the Hall and Park. Plans are underway to extend and improve the tennis courts and barbecue area. All hands are always welcome at our working bees, as are local tradies willing to donate goods and services.
The BCA regularly hosts the 'Café on the Park' for the Burra Open Gardens weekends.
The BCA publishes the monthly Burra newsletter, the 'Intermittent'.
