About the BCA
The Burra Community Association (BCA) is a social group dedicated to organising events, functions and fund-raising activities for the benefit of the local community.
The group is always on the lookout for community-minded people willing to devote a few spare hours to organise or lend a hand with community projects.
Projects completed in the last couple of years include refurbishment of the kitchen at the Burra Hall, the installation of a shade sail, and landscaping and other improvements to the Hall and Park. Plans are underway to extend and improve the tennis courts and barbecue area. All hands are always welcome at our working bees, as are local tradies willing to donate goods and services.
The BCA regularly hosts the 'Café on the Park' for the Burra Open Gardens weekends.
The BCA publishes the monthly Burra newsletter, the 'Intermittent'.
Membership costs $15 and subscriptions are due in July of each year.
The BCA Committee meets on the first Tuesday of each month at the Burra Hall, from 7.00 pm.
All are welcome to attend meetings and join in.
To join the BCA or for further information on how you can help with our projects or activities please contact Kevin Fiebig (President) on 6236 3138.
