Rural residents urged to make use of broadband guarantee
The NSW Farmers' Association is reminding farmers that all people have access to metro-comparable broadband internet, either via a commercial provider or via a subsidy under the Australian Broadband Guarantee. [Full story on Farmonline.com]

CDMA closure to go ahead on 28 April

BOM upgrades thunderstorm warning service
The Bureau of Meteorology is now providing enhanced, graphical, severe thunderstorm warning services for NSW and the ACT. The aim is to better define the regions under threat when dangerous thunderstorms are occurring.
The new products contain graphics that will complement the Bureau's traditional text-based warning products. [Full story on BOM website]
