The 1st Burra Scout Group was established in 1986, when the first Scout Troop consisting of 15 boys met on Wednesday, 26 February 1986.
Today, the Group consists of Scouts and Cubs and attracts boys and girls and young men and women from ages 6 to 26.
On 1 August 2007, Burra Scouts and Cubs joined in a celebration of 100 years of Scouting at the "Scouting Sunrise" in the grounds of Government House, Yarralumla.
Meetings
The Group meets in the Burra Hall on Wednesdays from 7.00 pm to 8.30 pm.
