Contact form for St Paul's Church

St Paul's Anglican Church

St Paul's is located on the Old Cooma Rd just south of the Mount Campbell estate, and lies within the parish of Queanbeyan and District Anglican Church (www.qdac.org.au).

We meet every Sunday morning at 8.00am for Holy Communion, and the last Sunday of the month is Café Church – an engaging service with coffee and muffins.

St Paul 's happenings

A warm welcome to St Paul's to all the residents of Burra. We trust that the year so far has been fruitful. Among the various activities and gatherings available for young and older alike, we extend an invitation to all people to join us Sunday morning at 8.00am.

Saturday night services continue on 16th August followed by 8th November. Come and join us around the campfire in the grounds of the church – please bring a plate to share! We'd love to see you there!

St Paul's Cafe Church

For people who may enjoy a more relaxing and engaging church environment with a coffee and muffins, St Paul 's invites you to join us on the last Sunday of every month for Cafe Church. This provides an opportunity to get to know each other better and question the meaning of life in a safe and supportive community environment.

Huey's@Burra

'Huey's@Burra' is an engaging space for 10-18 yrs olds to explore and develop our relationship with God in a safe and friendly environment with peers. New members to 'Huey's' are welcome! Among some "serious fun" we always share a meal together.

Term 3 begins on 2nd August from 5.30-8.00pm at the new clergy house, 1290 Old Cooma Road. Other dates for the term are:

  • 16th August - Campfire Church,

  • 30th August, and

  • 13th September.

Dates for Term 4:

  • 25th October,

  • 8th November – Service at St Paul's,

  • 22nd November, and

  • 6th December – Christmas party for youth and parents/friends.

Hope you can join us!

Home Group in Burra

The Home group in Burra occurs every Thursday evening (during term) 7.30-9.00pm at 172 London Bridge Road. Kylee and Gordon are hosting an intriguing study on the book of "Ephesians" at the moment. All are welcome, and no experience is required. For more details please contact Kylee and Gordon on 6236 3084.

D.U.C.K. Youth Retreat

The combined youth of the parish are invited to join us for our annual "Youth Retreat" 26-28th September, at "Caloola Farm" Tharwa. This is a special time of prayer and reflection with a slightly different focus than our normal youth group activities. It'll still be fun and we're hoping to get a good gathering to encourage and support one another in our journey of faith.

There will be more details soon. Contact Rev James for more information.
